Marathon has many areas of natural beauty, archaeological and historical interest. The “Paths of Culture” walking/hiking tours, connect the history and the nature of the region. “Timothy’s Family” provide a path of hikers and offering visitors the opportunity to discover the natural beauty and monuments of the area in a healthy and eco-friendly way. It’s about a smooth hiking route on a forest road and path, without significant altitude difficulties, time for a break of 30’ and return from the same route. The route moves mainly in low vegetation but also wooded area.
