Day 1 | Arrival Athens Airport – Athens Airport
Arrival in Athens and direct transfer to our hotel. Dinner and overnight stay

Day 2 | Athens – Ancient Corinth – Athens Overnight
After breakfast, we will admire the architectural marvels of ancient Athens as we follow our guide to the world-famous Acropolis to see the Propylaea, the Erechtheion, and the Parthenon. We will visit Mars Hill, where the Apostle Paul delivered his speech, and stroll through the Agora, the ancient center of the city’s economic and public life. During the subsequent bus tour, we will see Constitution Square with the Hellenic Parliament and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, the Temple of Zeus, the Old Olympic Stadium (Kallimarmaro), and the notable neoclassical buildings of Athens. We will then continue to Ancient Corinth, a once glorious city near the Isthmus, where Paul met Aquila and Priscilla and spent a year and a half preaching the Gospel. Here, we will visit the Archaeological Museum, the Forum, the temples, and the famous Bema, where Apostle Paul stood before Gallio, accused by the Jews of Corinth. We will then return to Athens for dinner and overnight stay

Day 3 | Meteora – Kalambaka Overnight
After breakfast, our journey through mainland Greece will begin with a drive from Athens to Kalambaka in central Greece, a region renowned for its breathtaking scenery. Here, atop massive granite pinnacles, stand the timeless Meteora Monasteries, home to priceless treasures of Christian art. We will visit the main monasteries before departing for our hotel in Kalambaka for dinner and overnight stay

Day 4 | Veria – Thessaloniki City Tour – Thessaloniki Overnight
After breakfast, we will experience the scenic countryside of Central and Northern Greece as we drive from Kalambaka to Veria, where we will visit the Bema of the Apostle Paul. Our journey continues to Thessaloniki, where we will see the White Tower, the Roman Arch of Galerius, the Byzantine Acropolis, and the city’s most famous church, the Basilica of St. Demetrius. We will then enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in Thessaloniki

Day 5 | Philippi – Kavala – Kavala Overnight
After breakfast, we will follow the historic route of the Via Egnatia, visiting areas once traveled by Paul and his companions. Our first stop is Amphipolis, where we will see the famous funerary Lion of Amphipolis. We will then continue to Philippi, including a visit to the Baptistery of Saint Lydia by the river, where the Apostle Paul baptized her. We will also explore the ruins of the Forum of Philippi, the Christian Basilicas, the “Prison of Paul,” and the ancient Theatre. Our journey will then take us to Kavala (ancient Neapolis), a picturesque port city, where we will admire the Byzantine Castle and the Roman Aqueduct. Check in to our hotel in Kavala. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6 | Kavala – Istanbul Overnight
After breakfast, we will depart from Kavala and drive through Thrace, passing the towns of Xanthi, Komotini, and Alexandroupoli. We will then reach the border and cross into Turkey. Our final destination for the day is Istanbul, the city that spans two continents. Renowned for its stunning landmarks and world-class museums, Istanbul awaits our exploration the following day. Arrival at our hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7 | Istanbul – Istanbul Overnight
After breakfast, our “Istanbul Guided City Tour” will start with the Blue Mosque, the most splendid mosque in the city. Then, we will have a walk through the Hippodrome, the centre of Byzantine civic life housing three ancient monuments. We will visit St. Sophia, one of the greatest churches in the world. After the conquest of the city in 1453, it was transformed into a mosque by Mehmet the Conqueror and in 1934 into a museum by Ataturk. In the afternoon, we will visit the famous Topkapi Palace, where the rich collection of Ottoman Treasures can be seen. Nowadays, it is one of the world’s greatest museums. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8 | Istanbul – Pergamum – Izmir Overnight
After an early breakfast, we will depart for Izmir. Our first stop will be St. Polycarp’s Church. We will then continue north to Pergamum, one of the major political and cultural centers of the Hellenistic and Roman world, and home to one of the Seven Churches. Among the city’s most impressive structures are the Altar of Zeus, the Temple of Dionysus, and the remarkable Library, second only to Alexandria in antiquity. We will also visit the Asklepieion of Pergamum, a famous ancient healing center. On our return to Izmir, we will stop in the city of Thyatira to see the remains of the Church, another of the Seven Churches mentioned in the Book of Revelation. We will then arrive at our hotel in Izmir for dinner and overnight stay

Day 9 | Izmir – Sardis – Philadelphia – Pamukkale
Overnight After breakfast, we will visit Sardis, a city of great significance to Christians as it was one of the Seven Churches of Revelation. Here, we will explore the ancient Gymnasium and the Temple of Artemis. Our next stop will be Philadelphia, another of the Seven Churches, which was an important Christian center during the Byzantine Empire. We will then continue to our hotel in Pamukkale for dinner and overnight stay

Day 10 | Pamukkale – Laodicea – Aphrodisias – Kusadasi Overnight
After breakfast, we will visit Laodicea, where the city’s remains lie atop a flat-topped hill. Christianity was introduced here during the time of the Apostle Paul by Epaphras of Colossae. Laodicea, one of the Seven Churches of the Book of Revelation, later became the seat of a bishop and hosted an important Ecumenical Council in the 4th century AD. Our next stop will be Aphrodisias, a city named for and dedicated to the goddess of beauty and love. Renowned as a center of art, science, sculpture, and festivals, Aphrodisias boasts remarkably well-preserved ruins, including the Theatre, the Stadium, the Baths, and the Bishop’s Palace. We will then continue to our hotel in Kusadasi for dinner and overnight stay

Day 11 | Kusadasi – Ephesus – Departure Izmir Airport
After breakfast, we will begin our visit to the ancient city of Ephesus, where the Apostle Paul spent three years during his third missionary journey. The impressive ruins of Ephesus include the Agora, the Theatre—where Paul once preached—the Stadium, the Library of Celsus, and the remnants of the Temple of Artemis, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, among many others. After our visit, we will be transferred to Izmir Airport for our flight, taking with us wonderful memories of our journey
