[vc_row][vc_column width=”2\/3″][vc_column_text]We start our One Day Tour and we will depart for\u00a0Argolis<\/strong>.\u00a0Argos<\/strong>\u00a0is a city and a former municipality in\u00a0Argolis<\/strong>,\u00a0Peloponnese<\/strong>. A settlement of great antiquity,\u00a0Argos<\/strong>\u00a0has been continuously inhabited as at least a substantial village for the past 7,000 years. The city is member of the\u00a0Most Ancient European Towns Network<\/strong>. However, this term is most often used to refer to those Ancient Greeks generally who assaulted the city of Troy during the\u00a0Trojan War<\/strong>, many of whom originated from\u00a0Argos<\/strong>. Numerous ancient monuments can be found in the city today, the most famous of which is the Heraion of Argos. Then, we will visit\u00a0Ancient Corinth<\/strong>.\u00a0Ancient Corinth<\/strong>\u00a0was an important city-state in\u00a0Ancient Greece<\/strong>\u00a0and dates back from the Neolithic Period (5.000-3.000). We will visit the\u00a0Archaeological Museum of Ancient Corinth<\/strong>, in terms of the wealth and quality of the findings. A\u00a0guided tour<\/strong>\u00a0will follow and then, we will depart for\u00a0Mycenae<\/strong>.\u00a0Mycenae<\/strong>\u00a0was an ancient town of\u00a0Argolis<\/strong>\u00a0and one of the biggest centres of Greek civilisation as it was a powerful military fortress. We will visit the\u00a0Kingdom of the mythical Agamemnon<\/strong>, whom Homer praised in his epics. Then, we will depart for the first capital of the Greek state during the period 1828-1833,\u00a0Nafplion<\/strong>.
